Myna Early Intervention has been one of the greatest blessings in our journey. My daughter was born with a cleft lip, and early on we faced challenges with feeding, delayed milestones, and social-emotional struggles. As a new mom, I felt overwhelmed, unsure of what to do or where to turn.
From our very first contact with Myna, I felt immediate relief. The process was seamless—she was assessed within a week, and therapy began shortly after. That kind of prompt and caring response made all the difference during a very uncertain time.
Since starting services, my daughter has made amazing progress—she’s meeting goals, thriving, and growing into the confident little girl I always hoped she’d be. We also receive monthly OT consults that are filled with thoughtful, creative strategies to help our daughter continue to grow and succeed in her daily life.
Beyond the direct support, working with Myna has completely transformed my understanding of child development. I’ve learned so much about how children grow, communicate, and connect—and that knowledge has sparked a real passion in me. I feel more confident, more informed, and more empowered as a parent.

We are so grateful for the Early Intervention Program and would recommend participating in the program for all parents! Our first child participated in the program after being in the NICU for some breathing trouble after she was born. She has thrived in this program, with referrals when needed and advisement from Shana at any point necessary. Shana has also been a wealth of knowledge for my husband and I - answering any and all questions we’ve had from our daughter’s birth until present (she recently turned two!) It has helped me as an anxious mom to know my child is on track both at home and in school, where Shana will visit her. The team is kind, caring, thoughtful and detailed - which is also so appreciated! Again, we would highly recommend participating in the Early Intervention Program and with Shana and her team!

We had no idea how overwhelming medical appointments and hospital stays would be, let alone how to support Hudson in his development. When we came home, we were introduced into Early Intervention Services and what that would mean for Hudson and we jumped in wanting to give him any extra support we could get! We lucked out getting Kelsey, who quickly got to know Hudson and is one of our biggest supporters! She completely speaks Hudson and helps us help him. She has taught us how to be his biggest advocate. She’s connected us to other therapists so that he gets all the support we can give him in these first years of life.
