Getting Started and The Process
Getting Started
CONTACT MYNA EARLY INTERVENTION: Parents and caregivers can call us directly or fill out the form below.
INTAKE PROCESS: Referrals received will first be sent to the Fargo Southeast Human Service Center, where families will complete an intake visit with a DD Program Manager. Southeast Human Service Center is the single point of entry for all Early Intervention services in Cass, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, and Traill counties.
Myna Early Intervention will then gather information about your child and family. This may involve filling out forms, providing information about your child's development, and discussing concerns.
EVALUATION: The next step is the evaluation process where a team of professionals will assess your child's development in various areas such as communication, motor skills, cognition, and social-emotional development. This may involve formal assessments, observations, and discussions with parents and caregivers.

After the Evaluation
FOLLOW-UP MEETING: After the evaluation, a meeting will be scheduled to discuss the results with the parent(s). The evaluation team will provide feedback on the child's strengths and areas of concern and determine if the child is eligible for Early Intervention services.
IFSP DEVELOPMENT: If your child is found eligible for services, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) will be developed. This plan outlines your child's specific needs, goals, and the services that will be provided to support your child's development.
BEGIN SERVICES: Once the IFSP is in place, the Early Intervention services will begin. Services take place at your home, your child's daycare, and at locations throughout the community.
